Augmented Reality Enhanced Learning Environments
Attendees of this session will learn about Augmented Reality (AR) enhanced learning environments. The topic will be addressed in 4 parts: 1. introduction to AR including definition, history, common uses, and entry points 2. detailed explanation of AR enhanced learning environments including theoretical/pedagogical foundations and notable examples 3. introduction of two free, user-friendly AR development platforms that can be used by teachers and students to design their own AR enhanced environments 4. exposure to a custom example of an AR environment that can be experienced in the area surrounding the convention center.
